Access to the Analytics system is secured through the user of API key pairs.
There are two types of API key pairs for the Analytics service:
- Collector
- Analyst
This makes it possible for a partner to manage the use of keys, and the appropriate access for each type.
Collector:
A collector is able to collect the data. These are the key pairs that you will use when calling the Logging function.
Analyst:
An analyst is able to create reporting queries, and then run those queries to display reports, graphs or results.
