This first screen is Step 1, and this is where you set up your form.
- Name your form. Ensure you do not use any spaces or any special characters (@ $ Z % ? & : ; - etc.)
- Click ‘Generate Interactions’ to generate the associated answerSpace Form Interactions
- Enter in a description if desired.
- In the area titled “Database to Use”, enter in the connection you wish to use, and the default time zone.
- Move onto the bottom half of the screen.
This is where the Interactions generated associated with the Form will appear. There are 7 Interactions that are created automatically when the 'Generate Interactions' button has been clicked:
Form Interaction | Form Function |
List | This Interaction displays all entries that have been entered via the Add Form Interaction. It does not allow users to enter information. |
Add | This is the main interaction, the one that users will fill in when using your form. |
Edit | This interaction allows you to edit the information held inside the form. |
View | This allows a user to view the form but not add nformation into it. |
Delete | This interaction enables the deletion of the form. |
The last three Interactions are hidden by default so as to limit the users who can change or remove the Form.
You can change the names of the Display Names and even their associated Interactions.
- Click the ‘Next Step’ button. This part of your form has been saved.
