Evergreen Updates

Evergreen updates are content updates that you make to your app that don't require an app rebuild and redistribution.

The app itself is not updated, only the content within the app. This is especially handy for code changes, updates to forms, or layout changes.

When to Use an Evergreen Update

Evergreen updates are perfect for changes of content within your app. This includes things like adding or changing forms, or updating menus, pages or structure, or even Javascript code changes.

Essentially any updates to code or resources within your Cordova "www" folder can be distributed with an Evergreen update.

When NOT to Use an Evergreen Update

Any changes that require changes to the native parts of your app, such as adding new plugins, will require a full app build and release. Evergreen updates can't make changes to native code.
