Distribution via App Stores

 If a client organisation wishes to also (or only) lodge the app in the various app stores for more general distribution they

must review the submission guidelines provided by the respective app store, for example:


The Apple iTunes App Store

 Before you begin you will need the following items: 

  • Application Name
  • Application Description
  • Primary and Secondary Category
  • Subcategories
  • Copyright
  • App Rating
  • Meta dfata Keywords
  • SKU Number
  • Application URL
  • App Screen shots (See itunes Connect Requirements)
  • Support URL
  • Support Email Address
  • End User License Agreement
  • Pricing, Available Date, Territories

  All iOS apps are subject to Apple's terms and conditions and must meet all requirements before approval for store distribution.

 

 

Google Play (Android Market)

  Before you begin you will need the following items:

  • APK file size: Maximum supported size is 50MB.
  • Draft application .apk file: When you upload an .apk file, it can be saved as a draft while you edit the other aspects of the list. Please note that package names for app files are unique and permanent, so please choose wisely. Package names cannot be deleted or re-used in the future.
  • Screenshots: 2 screenshots are required. The additional 6 are optional.
  • High-Resolution Application Icon: Required.
  • Promotional Graphic: Optional.
  • Feature Graphic: Optional.
  • Promotional Video: Optional.
