Scope of Services:
The overall scope of the set of services in the BlinkMobile Platform is described in the illustration below - each service listed is a separate mini- or micro-service which can be taken advantage of by itself. If you’re a programmer you’ll be learning more about these in subsequent lessons. If you just want to know what each one does then the next lesson (Architectural Overview) will give you a good introduction.
Within the Platform are a wide variety of tools and services available through a single login which enable you to:
Create and deliver apps that can be run on browsers and all manner of mobile devices (from a single development effort)
Be able to develop server-side processes delivered as APIs that do the magic in the background to orchestrate and integrate the apps into the enterprise systems,
Incorporate internet connected IoT devices into the solutions that will provide valuable contextual input to apps to inform decisions and minimise user inputs
Capture the data that you need to have so you can analyse and gain insight into both the use of your solutions and to drive the functionality of those solution.
