Whitelisted domains
A Blink Application Shell is designed to function within the selected answerspace and host domain. i.e. blinkm.co.
The BMP platform will often require several domains to use their services as part of functionality, maps and storage etc. As the application shell will we leaving its primary domain, for security reasons these domains need to added to a whitelist to allow the application to access the domain.
If a domain is not on the whitelist the application shell will display a warning message and may behave badly based on the interactions process.
Changes made to the October 2012 BMP release will allow the ability to add your whitelisted domain names via the answerspace
management screen in the "Native Application" section in the answerspace setup menu.
Previously this ability was done by a request to Blink Support requiring a re-build of the Application Shell. Now this new feature will mean newly whitelisted domains will be automatically known to the Application Shell.
Additional changes made to the October 2012 BMP release now allows the ability to store assets, images and files into a CDM in Amazon servers.
The following Domains are now part of a standard whitelist in Blink Application Shell built template.
