Step 5 (Configure Notifications)
This Step allows you to define an email notification that will be sent at a particular point in the Form’s lifecycle.
- Click 'Add Notification' and fill in the information in the resulting screen.
- Choose at which point to send the notification. For the majority of Forms, you will want the notification to be sent on ‘Add’ – i.e. when a user presses the Submit button and a record is entered into the database.
- Select the Stage at which the Notification is to be sent. You should choose ‘Success’. The other options are for BlinkMobile internal use only.
- If you have a standard white listed email address and you know it, enter it into the From: field here. Otherwise, leave this blank. Your email notification will be sent from bmp@blinkmobile.com.auif this is the case.
- Fill in the fields as required and scroll down to add more options to your notification.
- Choose which Form Field information you wish to view.
- Add a custom footer if you wish and attach an optional PDF version of the Form Field information.
- If you've chosen to attach a PDF version of the Form information, you can further refine what information that PDF will contain:
- When you are finished, click 'Next Step' to save your form and move onward.
